The Mission

The International Rescue Committee helps individuals whose lives have been forever changed as a result of violence, conflict, and disaster. Through programmatic outreach and training in the areas of economic wellbeing, education, health, empowerment, and safety, IRC helps people to recover and regain control of their futures.

What We Did

Resource Branding, Curriculum Implementation, Multilingual Translation Implementation, Print + Custom Design, Web Design + Development

During our four year partnership, we worked with IRC to provide custom graphic design and curriculum implementation for training resources used to educate and empower people all over the world.

Protecting adolescent girls from violence in humanitarian settings

For five years, IRC invested heavily in adolescent girls in humanitarian settings—researching the nature of violence against girls, and testing programs to understand what works to promote their safety. The Girl Shine Program provides guidance and tools for educators and advocates to design and deliver adolescent-girl centered programming to empower the girls and protect them from violence.

Setting the standards for quality, compassionate care for survivors

This resource represents the culmination of a two-year project spearheaded by global Gender-Based Violence experts from the International Medical Corps, International Rescue Committee, UNICEF, UNFPA, and UNHCR, along with regional and country level colleagues, in six countries: Central African Republic, Jordan, Lebanon, Mali, Niger, and Somalia. The goal of the project is to improve services, such as case management, to Gender-Based Violence survivors. For this project, we implemented content and provided custom graphics and design for over 315 pages of educational resources including:

Facilitator Guide of 67 pages
Case Management Guidelines Resource of 248 pages
PPT Presentation Templates

Preparing field-based practitioners to rapidly and effectively respond to emergencies

The GBV Emergency Preparedness & Response Facilitator’s Guide is part of a broader International Rescue Committee (IRC) commitment to equip field-based practitioners particularly those working with local women’s rights organizations and networks, with the skills, tools, and knowledge necessary to effectively and rapidly respond to Gender-Based Violence emergencies. We partnered with IRC to provide content implementation and custom graphic design for over 291 pages of educational materials.
