For over 75 years, they have been opening their home and providing an all-inclusive dude ranch experience on the crystal-clear shores of Flathead Lake, crafting unforgettable memories for each and every guest.
Our mission was to refresh the Flathead Lake Lodge brand while holding fast to the genuineness, tradition, and history that the Lodge is so famous for.
Brand Identity, Logo Design, Web Design + Development
We commenced the rebranding journey by revitalizing the Flathead Lake Lodge's identity through their website, infusing it with a fresh and airy feel. We incorporated lighter and softer design elements, complemented by vibrant colors and an extensive display of their breathtaking photography. This reinvigorated identity was then seamlessly extended across various touchpoints, including print and digital materials like brochures, folders, merchandise, advertisements, and signage, effectively capturing the Lodge's unique magic.
Collaborating with a company as steeped in history as Flathead Lake Lodge requires crafting a brand that bridges the gap between its illustrious past and its promising future. By skillfully incorporating whitespace and the Lodge's breathtaking photography, their brand identity strikes a balance that honors the past. Drawing inspiration from Montana's majestic landscape, we've broadened the color spectrum, fashioning a brand that is not only unified but also adaptable, capable of seamlessly spanning various assets and evolving through time.
Through our design and development efforts, we've created an immersive online experience that mirrors the magic of an all-inclusive stay in picturesque Bigfork, Montana. Besides design and development, our collaboration included curating over 40 pages. We assisted the in uploading captivating imagery and content, allowing the Flathead Lake Lodge team to focus on what they do best - providing an exceptional lodge experience.
With a vast 2,000-acre Montana landscape welcoming guests from around the world every week, signage becomes paramount. Be it for wayfinding, safety, or identification, these signs are not just a reflection of the Flathead Lake Lodge brand, but also need to be universally clear and easily comprehensible, even for those in motion. Our latest sign systems, prominently featured in the Lodge's private bike park, encompass essential wayfinding and cautionary elements. Ensuring legibility for diverse users including mountain bikers, horseback riders, hikers, and motor vehicle enthusiasts is our top priority.
We take pride in curating a diverse range of merchandise for Flathead Lake Lodge, from stylish apparel to delightful stickers, postcards, and a unique collection of enamel pins – each meticulously crafted to embody the Lodge's unique identity. In celebration of the Lodge's 75th anniversary, we joined forces with the renowned Hatch Show Print, a venerable letterpress printing institution, to design and produce an exclusive commemorative poster and t-shirt that pays tribute to this historic milestone.
